Isolation as a Japanese

These days, I feel a sense of isolation as a Japanese. Japan is isolated from the world in terms of history, language, and culture. If you spend your entire life here, that may be perfectly fine. However, if you wish to break free from this aquarium, you need wings to fly. It takes time to grow them, while the birds already have theirs and are soaring in the sky.
